Statistical Bulletin

To achieve its objectives and fulfill its duties, the Bank of South Sudan gathers statistical data. This information comes from two main sources:

• South Sudanese authorities and economic agents: The Bank directly collects data from relevant government agencies and businesses within South Sudan.
• Cooperation with international organizations and other countries: The Bank collaborates with international organizations and financial institutions in other countries to access and share necessary statistical information.

The Bank then compiles and analyzes this data to:

• Inform policy decisions: Statistical analysis helps the Bank develop effective monetary and financial policies.
• Increase public understanding: The Bank may publish relevant data to keep the public informed about the economy.
• Meet international reporting obligations: The Bank fulfills its commitments to international organizations by providing them with statistical data.
